What's new in AutoCAD2007

I don't use 3D so I will not touch on any of that.

It has a new DWG file format. Now you will save files as AutoCAD 2007 DWG's. So users without AutoCAD 2007 needs to download the DWG TrueConvert™. The link is here http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=7024151

It has a new XREF command displays so all of your attached file information (DWG, images, DWF) can be managed in a single palette and it can read DWF files and use them as an overlay for your base.

Finally, one of main reason you need to upgrade is you can publish your drawings directly to PDF files.

The PSBSCALE Command in AutoCAD2006

By typing PSBSCALE at the command line you can place block inserts in the model space and specify the size that they should appear to be in paper space. If the zoom factor changes, you can update previously set objects to adjust their size accordingly.

This is useful if you would like the legend objects in the paper space to be the exact same size as the objects in the model space.
