Autodesk® Batch Drawing Converter Beta

For those of you that have consultants that are to cheap to upgrade Autodesk has a new version of there Autodesk® Batch Drawing Converter - it converts any AutoCAD or AutoCAD-based drawing file to AutoCAD Release 14, AutoCAD 2000, AutoCAD 2000i, AutoCAD 2002, AutoCAD 2004, AutoCAD 2005, and AutoCAD 2006 file formats. Autodesk Batch Drawing Converter allows conversion of pen widths to lineweights and the addition of page setups.

It is a pre-release beta for the new Autodesk Batch Drawing Converter. The only difference from the existing Batch DWG Converter at http://www.autodesk.com/migrationtools is this version does not require any AutoCAD to be on the machine it is installed on. So now you can install on a machine with no AutoCAD on it and convert DWG files back and forth between R14 and the current versions of DWG used by AutoCAD 2006 using a native Autodesk tool.
